What Does a Healthy Church Sound Like? (August 6, 2023)

Grace saves us—we don217;t deserve it, can217;t earn it, and have no grounds to boast about it, as Paul makes plain in Ephesians 2:8–9—so what does it look like when a community of undeserving people actually lives that out together as the church God is building?

Our Defender

An Online Men's Bible Study

With 220;social distancing221; shutting down much of our society, including traditional, in-person Bible studies, FaithTree is offering a Men217;s Bible Study for men of all ages going through the comforting Servant Songs of the Book of Isaiah. It will be facilitated by two pastors familiar to FaithTree, Pastor Tim (of Little Hills Church) and Pastor Brad (of Bible Baptist Church).

FaithTree Online Prayer Walk

Praying for Our Community on May 14

We are called every day to pray without ceasing and to rejoice before our God (1 Thess. 5:16-18). FaithTree had planned a Spring Prayer Walk to pray for our community in that spirit that had to be canceled last month due to the situation around the coronavirus. However, in partnership with our sponsoring churches, other wonderful area churches and individuals throughout the community, we are going to have an online prayer walk today, May 14! We are excited to see what God will do through this time!

Why We Can't Hear What God Is Saying (June 23, 2024)

Clear words can still sail right past us when they aren217;t the news we want. In Luke 18, Jesus tells the Twelve exactly what217;s about to happen to Him, yet they were just like us: they didn217;t want to hear.

Favor Giver or Father? (August 31, 2025)

Do we only come to God when everything217;s falling apart—when we217;re without a prayer and just need a favor? In Psalm 10, it217;s clear God is our Father, not just our favor giver, but too often we approach him only as the latter.

Online Community Prayer Walk

Praying for Our Community on August 20

We are called every day to pray on all occasions and to constantly pray for God217;s people (Ephesians 6:18). This Spring, more than 600 people from all over responded to the call to gather and pray at the FaithTree Spring Online Prayer Walk that we participated in alongside FaithTree217;s other sponsoring churches. It was an incredible, encouraging day that we know the Lord used in powerful ways and one we are eager to repeat. Let217;s join together to pray in Jesus217;s name once again at our second Online Prayer Walk today, August 20! We are excited to see what God will do through this time!
